Contagious Energy: MT Program Launches in Spain

Laura Truchado PicPleasant surprises. Exceptional training and support. Laura T.  has come to appreciate both these aspects of her everyday work environment as an Assistant Manager at the Enterprise home city branch in Móstoles, Spain.

Perhaps most surprising is the fact that she’s embraced a career in the car rental industry, after completing a degree in occupational therapy at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid. During her undergrad days, Laura worked part time for Enterprise at the airport. And somewhere along the way, she says, “Enterprise’s energy caught me!”

Spain rolls out Management Training Program

Spain.MT.Program.Jimenez.Perucha.Lopez.E796N0.E285PB.E298RCA fitness guru, a high school teacher and a banker all walk into an Enterprise branch in Spain. Why? Because they all want a new challenge — and that’s exactly what they’re getting.

Two are helping implement the inaugural Management Training (MT) program in Spain, while one just became a part of it.

The most tenured of the trio is the fitness guru — Gerardo J., Branch Manager of the Chamartín train station in Madrid, Spain. He joined Enterprise’s International MT Program in 2013 and learned the ropes of the business in London knowing that he would return to Spain. Gerardo excelled and now is the first Branch Manager in the country who began his training outside of Spain.

everestEver dream about being on top of the world? One Enterprise employee made this a reality when he decided to take on Mount Everest, the world’s tallest mountain with a peak of 29,029 feet (5.5 miles) above sea level.

Pedro G., Enterprise Holdings’ Group Operations Manager for Spain, spent 14 days trekking up the Himalayas in Nepal last month to fulfill his lifelong dream.
