Women’s volleyball reaches its peak each winter with the NCAA® Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship game. As a former college volleyball player, Business Rental Sales Director Dana Sutton is glued to the action.
No matter who she is rooting for, the quality of the game is just as important as its outcome. “I just love watching good players play good ball,” Dana says. “It makes the game so much more exciting.”
Dana was the middle hitter on her team at Eastern Michigan University. Though the Division I Eagles never made it to an NCAA Championship game during her time there, Dana helped her team earn a spot at their conference semifinals.

Senior Account Executive Francois Jean-Baptiste graduated college in 2006, and — when he couldn’t find a job in his chosen field of accounting — took a sales position at a cell phone company.
“I realized I was surprisingly good at sales,” Francois says. “But after a few years, I wanted to find a sales job with a company that provided more opportunities for growth. A friend of mine suggested I look into Enterprise’s Management Training Program.”
Francois followed that advice and started as a Management Trainee in Lyndhurst, N.J., in early 2011. A year later, he was able to take the MQI — an exam that all MTs must pass before moving up the ranks —he passed with flying colors.
A few months later, while Francois served as the Assistant Manager in Summit, N.J., the Area Car Sales Manager came to visit him and gauge his interest in a career with Enterprise Car Sales.

You could say Brendan Keane has made a career out of delivering a little bit more than people expect.
The St. Louis native now lives and works in London, where he is Assistant Vice President of Sales for the U.K. and Ireland. But his career exceeded expectations right from the very start. In 1995, Brendan landed a job as a Car Prep at an Enterprise branch in Springfield, Mo. Initially, he viewed the job as a chance to work his way through college. But soon enough, he caught the branch manager’s eye as someone who had a knack for sales and customer satisfaction.

Once a week, Jason Brown brings a valuable bit of his professional expertise to a classroom setting — working to improve the long-term prospects for a group of at-risk eighth-graders in the process.
“I think Enterprise’s mentoring approach translates well to students,” says Jason, a Training and Development Manager in Pennsylvania. “At work, we always talk about performance, and getting the help you need to reach your potential. Sometimes all it takes is encouragement, so that’s the philosophy I use when I work with these students.”
For the past several years, Jason’s weekly tutoring sessions have put a personal face on his operating group’s long-standing support for The Nativity School of Harrisburg. This private, faith-based preparatory middle school takes a unique approach to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing both educational and support services for low-income, inner-city boys.

Growing up, I always thought I’d end up with a job that involved golf. While I hoped to golf professionally, I knew I could provide lessons as a backup plan. Even though neither of those ideas came true, working at Enterprise has been an amazing ride. And, I still get in an occasional round of golf on the job.
I first learned about Enterprise while attending a leadership class at Western University of Michigan, where I attended school on a golf scholarship. A female branch manager had come in to talk during one of my classes about customer service and the type of people Enterprise hires.
At that time, renting cars did not seem like what I wanted to do, but that branch manager made a good impression that stuck with me. She made such a strong case that when I returned to Canada after earning degrees in business management and international business, I looked them up.
