On the GO with Enterprise since 2015

As an alumnus of Stony Brook University, what attracted you to Enterprise? 

I was attracted to Enterprise’s culture of team work, competitiveness and that employees can take many different paths in their careers. It was also clear that the company invests in its employees to help them grow and succeed.

What skills and attributes from your college athletics did you bring to Enterprise?

 While playing baseball at Stony Brook, I developed leadership skills and a strong work ethic that I am able to bring to my job at Enterprise on a daily basis. Baseball also requires teamwork to achieve a common goal, and I face that within my team at Enterprise as well.

 How did your college athletics prepare you for your career with Enterprise?

Playing sports in college showed me how to commit to a process in order to succeed. I also learned the valuable lesson of focusing on the present rather than the future, because, giving it your all in the present will take care of the future. Being part of the team in the Management Training program, I recognize it is as important to be a team player as it is to be a leader – it is serving as a teammate that ultimately makes you a great leader.

What has your career path with Enterprise been like?

I just recently joined the Management Training Program, and I have set a goal for myself to be promoted to an Assistant Manager role within a year.

What do you like most about Enterprise?

I like that each employee has control of their own career and that I have the ability to move quickly through the company. I also appreciate the continued education and training Enterprise offers, which proves that the company and its leaders promote a culture of caring about the success of its employees.

What makes a successful Enterprise employee?

A successful Enterprise employee is a leader who is willing to step out of his or her comfort zone in order to grow. Employees who are the most successful are persistent, goal oriented and dedicated to success.
