From the very beginning, Enterprise Holdings has been a family. Founded by Jack Taylor in 1957, with just three employees, we’ve always operated under a simple philosophy – “Take care of your customers and your employees first, and growth and profits will follow.” 60 years later, we continue to do things Jack’s way. And like most families, we’ve gone through some changes. We’ve added to our portfolio of brands. We’re more deeply rooted in our communities. We’ve expanded to a global stage. And now we’re proud to announce we’ve reached 100,000 employees worldwide. Continue reading 100,000 Employees Milestone [Infographic]
We recently spoke to Branch Manager Eric C. who manages an Enterprise branch in Canoga Park, California. One of Eric’s customers wrote to Enterprise to express her appreciation for Eric, who went above and beyond the call of duty during her recent rental.
We recently spoke to Enterprise Management Trainee Audriana G., who works at Albuquerque’s Sunport airport in New Mexico regarding her outstanding customer service. Audriana turned an everyday encounter into a memorable experience for a frequent renter—impressing the customer to the point that she wrote a letter to Chief Executive Officer Pam Nicholson, commending Audriana’s efforts.
Summer interns in the Southwest region were asked to participate in a project to show how they have grown during their time at Enterprise. Each intern was asked to think of two hashtags: one explaining why they came to Enterprise, and one about what they’ve learned so far. Then, they each provided a short explanation for their choices.
At Enterprise I’ve learned the importance of building great customer relationships. Because we are always going above and beyond for every customer we have a lot of regular renters who I love to help. In return these great relationships have helped us grow our store’s fleet of cars and I’m extremely proud to be a part of our growth!!!
“There’s never a boring day here at the Medford Enterprise. From meeting new customers daily, developing my sales skills, and getting to know my co-workers I cannot think of a better place to get the best professional experience.
“So far my internship has been amazing, I could not have asked for a better office to work in. My manager and the management trainees in the office have taught me so much in the short amount of time that I have been with the company. The eight founding values of Enterprise have helped drive me to be more successful every day.
I have been employed with Enterprise for a little over a year and now I am on the rental side of the company and have already learned so much about how the company operates.
Long before the Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee State upset Michigan State in the Big Dance this spring, recent MTSU grad William S. had his heart set on pursuing a career as an athletic director. Until he suited up as a Management Intern at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, that is.
“It was life-changing,” William says. “Once I got into the business at Enterprise, I knew this is where I wanted to be long term.” Since December, he’s been chalking up the early wins of his career as a full-time Management Trainee in the Tennessee Group.
